I was amazed by how fast they got the roof done. The crew worked very well and seemed to have quite a system. The chimney guys were friendly and the chimney looks great.

My experience with Avalon was excellent, they were attentive to what I needed. Gus was very informative of the products that are sold and recommended the best one to suit the problem areas. He explained the company and the service that would be provided, the gutter crew was efficient and knowledgeable. Within 2 hours the gutters were up and yard was cleaned. The whole crew was very hard working, getting work completed in spite of very cold conditions. They worked well together and took the job on professionally. I contracted Avalon Building Concepts to get a bid on a new roof. The roof on the house was metal,and well over 50 years old. Doug came and look over the roof, clearly explained what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. I was very pleased when about 10 minutes after he left, he returned and said there had been a mistake the house was not as large as his assistant measured. His honesty won me over and saved me $2000.00. The work was professionally completed exactly as planned. I could not be more pleased. I even called and asked him to come back and do the eaves and downspouts. I would recommend Avalon without hesitation.

The best of the best! From beginning to end total satisfaction. The guys were professional, knowledgeable, and not pushy. They understood what I needed and did not try and sell me something I didn’t. The crew worked their tails off in frigid temperatures. I have already received many compliments from my neighbors on the new roof and oh yeah, I like it too.

These guys blew me away! I will always sing their praises after my project. I am very happy I selected them over the other companies we had give us an estimate. Chris’s personality and their finance options were what really sold us. They were middle of the line for price. Chris was not pushy at all. He just laid out our options and shared his knowledge of the state of my roof and how Avalon would fix it. He wrote the contract to include all new decking as he found out from climbing into our attic the roof was not up to code. As we are about to list the house, being able to finance with no payments for 12 months means that the sale of the house will pay for the roof. They even informed me they would honor their warranty for the new homeowners. The crew who actually installed our roof were beyond professional. I was most impressed that they worked into the night to complete the roof in one day! The 5 man crew were done with everything at 7ish, but were not in a hurry or anything to leave. They rolled a magnetic through my yard for a good hour after the roof was done to make sure all nails were picked up. They even blew off the patio of all the shingle dust. I am so thrilled with their work. Most shocking part of the whole thing - I got a call on a Saturday from Adam asking if he could do a walk around of my roof to make sure I was happy. That’s amazing customer service!

From my first call to Avalon and throughout the entire process, everyone was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. Doug Draper was great to work with. Very detailed and easy to contact when I had a question. Our roof looks wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better company to work with. I highly recommend Avalon.

Excellent service! Windows look fantastic.

I got referred to Avalon by two individuals who I respect the opinion of that had both worked with Avalon in the past. We were under a time crunch so we didn't get multiple estimates, but their representative crawled up into our attic and got on our roof. He was able to determine that our dormer was not correctly flashed and that was the source of our leak. We were pleasantly surprised at the price. I thought the price would be a few thousand more than what we were quoted. They did our roof on Thanksgiving Day arriving while we were home at 8 AM and finishing after we had left for dinner with the family. They brought a big crew to complete the job in one day. We did find some black tar marks on our siding and some scraps left over in our yard the next day, but it was dark when they left. Overall, they do a professional job and my roof is leak free.

After watching our neighbors roof get done by them, we called. They sent out a young gentleman named David who did a thorough inspection for us. He was friendly, got up on our roof, and into our hard to reach attic to look into everything. He provided us with a quote for shingles that were made locally. The three man crew did a wonderful job. They took precautions with throwing tarps down while they were removing everything. I found a few nails when it was all said and done with, but I didn’t imagine they were gonna be able to find everyone of them with the snow. From what I see the roof looks good and they did a great job. We know who to call if we have any home problems from now on.

For the most part Avalon is great. I have no complaints when it comes to my roof. They know what they are doing and they get it done. Dan who provided the inspection was kind enough to show up during the installation to check on the crew as I was at work. I came home in the middle of it which is a huge mess, but the crew had tarps down to collect everything coming down from my roof. They cleaned up when it was all said and done. Only snag in the whole process was with the finance department, as they did not communicate very well with me on my credit union loan. Besides that hassle, I enjoyed working with them. My roof looks great.

These guys are wonderful! We were able to select a shingle with their representative that would be best for snow dams. Good workers who were absolutely meticulous. Every single one of them knew what they were supposed to do and did it! Avalon does not slack around. Only draw back was the higher price than what we got estimated originally by our insurance agent. Very impressed with their methodical process that fixed all of our leaks.

I was looking into replacing my windows myself as they let in major drafts. I was sick and tired of wrapping them every winter. Avalon offered free quotes so I agreed to let them come out. Doug was friendly. We bullshitted for a while before he dropped the price tag on me for different options. I was shocked that he could replace all the windows in my home and my patio slider for less than I expected it to cost me. They turned out amazing! The two man team that came out to install are true tradesman. They had half the windows installed in the course of four hours. They were pleasant and took notice of where they stepped in my home while working. I love the fact I no longer have saran wrap my windows. Only issue I have is they no longer fog, so I have had a few birds fly into my super clear windows and slider over the last month. Definitely impressed with their work.

Avalon has been and will continue to be my go to for anything home improvement related when it comes to my home. They are always the first people I call because they have always done excellent work for me. They have fixed my chimney, my ceiling, my roof, remodeled my bathroom, and installed windows and doors throughout the years. I have even had the owner himself come out and look at my place. He is a kind man with a great team. Everyone is very helpful. All I have to do is call them, tell them my name, and they know my address. They just installed a new window and storm door for me and I continue to be impressed with their product and work.

Avalon's price was the best and they were hands down the most professional I had in my home for an estimate. Having a roofer explain to me that they normally would measure my roof by walking it, but did not want to risk further damage from added weight as I had a visible dip in my roof from broken trusses made sense. Billy instead went into my attic to see the damage. He took a lot of pictures of my home from the ground and was able to provided me with a 3D model of my home. That model was used for me to see and pick my shingle color. No other company came close to offering something like that. As the crew had to come inside to do some of the work it was nice that they were friendly. Carl communicated with me a lot about what the crew was doing. I trusted him to do the work without me here watching him because he would keep in touch with me about what was going on. My roof no longer dips or leaks thanks to their work.

There wasn’t anything they didn’t think of and were not prepared for when it came to our roof. We ended up calling them to get more than one roofing estimate and are so happy we did. Unlike the guy from Hansons, Avalon’s guy got up on our roof. He said he found a few soft spots that concerned him as possible trouble areas. We didn’t have any leaks, but he explained to us what soft areas could mean. He even had a portfolio of work to showcase. He was not high pressured. Simply asked when we would like to start this project and we moved forward. It took a few weeks for them to get to our roof after signing the bid. When the crew arrived they immediately got right to work. Each guy knew they had a job to do and did it. We were so impressed that they put up big sheets of plywood to protect our big windows and sliders. While the entire crew did not speak English, the crew leader was always polite and would pull us aside when something needed to be addressed. He spoke English. They ended up finding a big gaping hole under our shingles during tear off where the decking had basically designated underneath. They do absolutely wonderful work and literally flew through our roof. We are so pleased with the color we choose. My wife always tells me it looks so much better than the green.

There are not many folks you can just call and trust on. Avalon is one of those companies. I found them in the phone book and upon calling had an appointment. Many companies wouldn't even answer the phone. They sent William out for the inspection and he quickly got up on our roof to inspect our chimney leak. He was nice, and made my older mother feel comfortable. He was sincere in explaining his findings and explanation of how he would like to solve the problem. It's always unsettling inviting strangers into your home, but William assured us the crew would be polite and take great care of us. When the workers arrived to fix our chimney leak they were everything William told us they would be. They were extremely respectable to our home, were neat, and finished quickly. I now have a beautiful hot home as the chimney is usable. I highly recommend giving them a call!

Fast and amazing. They are awesome to work with. We didn’t know how old our roof was, but knew it was getting close to having to be replaced so when they came knocking on our door we set an appointment. Doug who came out was able to pinpoint the estimated age of our roof based on walking our roof and peeking in our attic. His presentation of the company and products was very personable. He is not the stuffy “you have to buy this and this alone” type of salesmen. Very down to earth and makes sure you understand what it is you are buying and why. He told us the roof would be on within three weeks, and Adam called us in two to start. The day Juan and his crew arrived they were constantly moving. My husband and I were in and out of the house throughout the day and watched their progress. Everytime we saw the crew the guys would smile and go right back to working. The finished roof was completed in less than half a day and looks great. Really good company to work with.

Billy, who issued our quote, was lovely to work with: respectful of time, our wishes and ideas for the new build, and full of good insight on ways to make the project attractive and safe. We did not feel pressured in the least, and everyone in the quote and coordination stage were incredibly professional. When it came time to do the actual work, the demo and construction was done by Kuba. Kuba is respectful, timely, a good communicator, and does really quality work. You would be hard pressed to find someone who outworks him. Everyone at Avalon is great, but Kuba really won all our future business with Avalon. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed. The work is lovely and feels very strong. A deck that used to scare me is now my favorite place to be! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work from trustworthy people.

When looking for a quality contractor to repair your roof you are bound to run into a lot of different salespeople. Avalon was one of three contractors I requested bids from. I won’t disrespect the other companies that came to my home, but if you are lucky enough to get Dan Wright as your sales person - sign the contract. He is not only a knowledgeable salesman, but a wonderful human being. He doesn’t try to strong arm you, doesn’t pressure you into making an answer, and really doesn’t come off that he “has the job” until you tell him he has the job. He truly wants to help you make an educated decision on what is best for you and your home. Everything he told me would happen was delivered by his company. The crew were great. My roof was installed quickly and professionally. I didn’t really find that much debris left over once the job was done. All my leaks are gone. I am completely ecstatic with the outcome and appreciate that Dan kept in contact with me throughout the project and followed up with me after the roof was on. Highly recommend him.

Easy to recommend them as they tore my old roof off, laid down all new OSB, and replaced my shingles while I was out of town and the finished product looks this good. I am glad I listened to the color suggestion that Randy gave me. The charcoal color really makes the brick on my home pop. Thanks Avalon.

Very happy I gave them a call. After having a bad experience with a different roofer on a rental property I was leery of who I Could trust. The gentlemen they sent out to inspect my leaking barn roof was very professional and respectful. The price was good, even with replacing all the rotted wood underneath the old shingles. I had to wait about a month for them to start the roof, but when they did they showed up on time, worked hard all day, and did a very nice job with the roof and clean up. I would recommend them to anyone that asks.

We enjoyed working with them. They treated us with respect which I expected as I knew of them from my own custom door business. They were higher on price than a smaller outfitted crew, but their crew was better equipped and more experienced. The lower priced company couldn't get to my roof for months, whereas Avalon's crew got to it in weeks and was able to finish the roof in a day. Not having my yard a mess with a drawn out construction project was worth the extra money spent. They did a great job. My new roof really spruced up the house. Should we need more work done in the future we know who we will be calling. Thanks guys for the great work.

No stress. No mess. We had other projects happening as we are renovating our home and they were very easy contractors to work with. Our roof looks amazing. We are pleased we listened to David’s recommendation to go with a black trim on our roof with the charcoal shingle as it turned out brilliant. We couldn’t be happier.

My roof needed to be done and it needed to be done quickly as I had a leak. Avalon was the first one in the door. Eric who gave me the inspection was great. He gave me an education on how a roof actually breathes and the importance as to why. I wanted to do just a repair to stop the leak which he told me they would do, but he ended up recommending a whole roof replacement due to the shape of the rest of my roof. I wanted it done right, and what he showed me of their process I knew it would be so I agreed. They called me shortly after signing with Eric and a crew of ten arrived the next day. They were here right at 7 like they told me they would be. First thing they did was ask if we had everything we needed out of the garage so they didn’t end up blocking us in with tarps or boards they put up against the house. Then they went right to work. They worked efficiently and were organized. I was here for the first four hours as they worked and they were outstanding. I ended up leaving for work and my wife called me later around 5 to tell me they were done and running a magnetic around the yard. I was amazed it got done in one day. I am very impressed that they got right after it. Absolutely fantastic.

I’ll save you the trouble of doing the homework and tell you to invite them out. While they were not the cheapest of the 14 companies I had out, they provided me a good price for the shingle and smart vent they put on my home. The roof looks great. Seriously give them a call.

From start to finish everything was positive with these guys. Searching for a roofing contractor that is local and willing to get to you in a timely manner can be challenging. I saw their advertisement in the phone book and called. While a majority of their sales guys work out of Grand Rapids they do have a Lansing office which proved to be local. Within 48 hours they had Mike out to inspect my roof. He was a personable young man who didn't pressure me into buying. He simply told me what was wrong and how he could fix it - with pictures of previous jobs they had completed I might add. The price was lower than other estimates I had already received, so when he gave me an estimated time on how long the roof would take the crew to complete based on the size of my home I was sold. I really appreciated the fact that Avalon gave me time to decide how I wanted to pay for it and the option to cancel within 3 days. The day the crew arrived early morning with about 8 to 9 guys, and before you know it they are on the roof and moving along. They even moved my potted plants, lawn furniture and covered my deck. Watching them work reminded me of synchronized swimmers as they each knew what their job was to do. Very quick and efficient. I ended up having to leave to run errands mid day so I spoke to the project manager, he told me they would be done in about an hour and would make sure everything was where it was when they arrived. When I came back home it was like whoa - the roof is done! Everything was put back where it was like the project manager told me it would be. I only found one nail. One nail! What these guys tell you will happen they make happen.

No complaints. The sales guy who came out to give me the quote was pleasant. He made it smile and easy. My new roof looks great. The crew started at sevenish in the morning and finished about seven hours later. Didn’t even have to finalize my finance paperwork till completion.

Overall great experience. Everything looked the same when they left as when they arrived besides my new roof. They do a good job. Very pleased with the outcome.

Call them. Ask for David Strotheide. He is a problem solver. I run mutiple properties and when gathering bids for one of the properties to pitch my bosses he worked with me providing extra educational materials to present to them about the roofing products Avalon uses. Most other companies just give me an estimate. He walked me through what to expect once the bid was accepted. However they surpassed my expectations. The installers were so polite and so neat. They took their time to complete the job and cleaned up well. We have dogs who go outside so I have been looking for any left over materials and have not found a single nail. The crew finished on a Saturday, and as I taking some pictures of my new roof to show off David calls me to ask how I like it. That follow up was amazing. They had just left and here he is calling to make sure I’m happy. Very impressed with his customer service and the new roof.

I didn’t shop around for anyone else after I watched the whole process on my neighbors roof. I walked over there and talked to the guys while they were packing up to leave. They were personable. I saw enough of their work and how they handled themselves to convince me these guys knew what they were doing. I called Avalon to have them come out and give me a price. I have worked sales so I know how to read people. Jesus was very honest and caring. He was not over polished or performing. What you saw with him is what you got. He explained areas of concern on my roof and presented me different options at different price points. I decided what was best for me without any pressure. I requested the same crew my neighbors had and they delivered. Juan’s crew was great. They have a great work ethic and thoroughly tackled my roof. I found a few nails walking around, but that is nothing when they nail each shingle down with six nails. Jesus has kept in contact with me throughout the whole thing. If I had a question he would answer it, or call me back with the answer. He’s a good guy. Easy to recommend him and Juan.

They were one of five companies I was looking to get a quote from. I knew I wanted a contractor that was local and easy to get in touch with. I hadn't called to make an appointment, but when I saw Avalon's truck drive by my neighborhood I flagged down the driver. I asked the driver about how the company handled themselves and he informed me about the company as a whole. He didn't try to sell me a product, but gave me honest information about how Avalon does business. As he wasn't a salesman he scheduled an appointment for a full roofing inspection. Terry, who was sent to inspect my roof, was smiling when he knocked on the door. He was friendly and got to know my wife and I before starting his inspection. His presentation was excellent. I had done my research on roofing and knew what I wanted in regards to underlayment and shingles. Terry didn't skip a beat with my own knowledge. He still took his time with us to make sure everything was understood. He explained how the crew was trained by GAF and the entire process of how my roof would be installed. He had some shingle color options for my wife and I to see, but we weren't sold on any of them. He mentioned that we could go directly to Avalon's supplier. They had a showroom to see larger samples and informed us that upon selection he would have a final price. He was willing to be patient and work with us to get exactly what we wanted. Upon finding the perfect color we got our price. We ended up adding gutters to the project as well. I negotiated a little bit and ended up signing the contract. Within days I received a call from Avalon saying they wanted to install the roof. The roofing crew was fantastic! Every member was friendly. A few did not speak English, but that didn't matter. They did a great job. Everything they did they did without me questioning. It all made sense because Terry told me how it would go during his presentation. You could tell the crew has done numerous roofs based on how they worked together. Our gutters took longer to get installed. Our roof was completed within nine days of signing the contract, where as our gutters took an additional two weeks to complete. The gutters were professionally hung, but without a professional attitude. Perhaps the installer was having a bad day, but he was not as friendly as the roofing crew. Overall, I would give Avalon a 95%. Most everyone I spoke too was warm and friendly. They do superb work. My roof looks great!

They did a beautiful job from start to finish. Dan W truly went the extra mile for us. He was knowledgeable, kind, and truly cared. He even came back after the roof was completed to walk around the home and check the work as he knew we were particular. The guys who installed our new roof were very nice and worked like a machine to get it done quickly. They paid attention to detail in how the shingles were laid and went through our yard numerous times to find any loose nails that came down with the removal of our old shingles. Not only were they fast, they did excellent work. Very impressed!

Happy with the quality. They were cheaper than Anderson for windows, but higher than other companies for doors. We had some hiccups along the way, but I felt there were a lot of people there to get it done. I feel like that might have been half the reason why there were troubles in the first place. They had two project managers come out to give me the quote, a different guy to measure where the windows would be installed, the insulation crew, and then Brent and Shawn to install my windows and doors. It would have been nice to have just one person to deal with. If you have windows installed, Brent is very good at what he does. He is very careful and meticulous. Both guys made sure to get it right.

We are so thankful for everyone we came across with at this company. Our new roof looks great. They don’t mess around. They did all the work we agreed too and extra they didn’t have to do. We had an old tree limb that hung to low over our driveway that we hadn’t gotten around to cutting, and with our permission the crew cut it down cleaned it up and hauled it away. This was partly because of the fear that the delivery trucks top might hit it. Rather than have that happen they took precautions so it wouldn’t. When they were cleaning up our yard they even loaded up old carpet from an inside remodel. Its the little things they did that really show how much this company does. I am very pleased and know that my home will be taken care of if I have them doing the work.

They know their stuff. Very considerate of the interior, belongings, and exterior of my home while they replaced my roof, gutters, and blew in attic insulation. They have a good team. I was amazed at how efficient they are. Very pleased with the job. I like the color of the shingles. Looks very nice.

After being referred by a friend who's whole neighborhood used these guys I knew I was in good hands. Mike who came out to our home was personable and cute as a button. He was reasonable with price and because of our serious leaking problems put us up on the list. I didn't get to see the crew arrive, but came home from work and they were still working till nine at night. One of the guys got strung by a few hornets due to a nest we didn't know we had on our garage. I felt so bad for him. They ended up coming back the next day to finish clean up and did a walk around of the project with my husband. Some shingles during tear off ended up throwing off the tracking system on our garage door, but we called them and they came and corrected it right away. The entire project was no inconvenience and quick. Give these guys a call.

They do an absolute amazing job! Ryan was an awesome guy who presented everything we needed to know fast and accurately. I explained that I had been trying to find someone that would offer decent finance options and he told me to rest assured they had me covered. Which they did. Part of my job was even covered by my homeowners insurance due to hail damage. The group who came out to install were quiet, clean, and quick. They didn’t smoke or curse, and most importantly didn’t kill any of my plants. They even took care of my chimney. I am so impressed with the 50 year warranty and color match. Everything looks beautiful.

They are great! The people who did the roof were quick and clean. We had a small communication issue as to when the materials were going to be delivered, but luckily we where home. The delivery driver was smart enough to park on the street so as to not add stress to our newly paved driveway. Other than that the project was absolutely amazing. I refer them to my family and friends and enjoyed working with them.

Contracted Avalon to do repair work on my house before it was to be painted. Doug Draper came out and did a very thorough and honest inspection. He was wonderful and listened to my concerns. I received a list from my homeowners insurance that had to be corrected on my home in order to keep my insurance. I mean I wanted my roof done as it was old and at the point, but I knew if I really wanted too I could it myself. I reroofed my own barn and garage, but the convience of having someone else do it made my decision easier. I set an appointment with them as someone came to my door and asked. The guy who gave me the quote was super nice and had a good sense of humor. Turns out my daughter knows him. The crew arrived a few days later to install my new roof. I work two jobs so I got to see them before I left for work and they got right to it. I came home from work and it was done. I found a few nails from where they removed the dumpster, but they didn’t wreck any of my flowers. I never received an invoice telling me what was done or how much materials they ended up using which would have been nice to have, but it looks great.

I knew I wanted Polaris Windows due to researching different types of windows. Avalon was the only company that offered them. I called Polar Seal as well to compare prices just so I knew I was doing due diligence. They offered a good comparison, but it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. When Randy came over to give us an estimate he offered us a reasonable price on the black exterior white interior windows we wanted as well as a glass sliding door. Only bad part of the experience was we were not informed that black spacers were going to take an extra month for delivery from Polaris. We were so excited to have the new windows and door in that the set back to the timeline was disappointing. Otherwise, we were very impressed with Avalon. The schedulers were great, installers were awesome, and the price was fair for exactly what we wanted.

I wanted a roofer that was very qualified, who had experience, and expertise when it came to craftsmanship with mansard roofs to replacement my own. While their price was high, I knew from the moment that the salesman walked in that he was honest. Avalon fit my criteria. He and I agreed to the work and he gave my wife and I an estimate start date. That date was pushed back a bit due to extremely hot weather which was a slight disappointment. However, on the day the crew arrived they were all very professional. The leader Severino made sure the crew was respectful to our home, landscaping, and each other. He asked us if they could work on Sunday, rather than assuming, to come to completion on the project quicker. They worked hard to complete my roof. His crew put in 12 hour days, yet still found moments to have a good time working together. That says something about the morale of Avalon. It was a big job, and while I found a few nails when it was all said and done, they didn’t make promises they couldn’t keep. My new roof looks amazing and I am very pleased with my selection.

I knew what I wanted. Avalon was able to get me financed with no interest for a year. The guys who came to my home to give us an estimate knew they were not the first ones through the door, so they tailored their presentation to my husband and I. We signed with them and had a few communication issues after the install. The dumpster was not communicated to us that it was gonna be delivered, nor that it would take a full 24 hours to get picked up after the roof was completed. I mean we used that to our advantage to throw away a lot of junk around the house, but still it took up a lot of space. The crew themselves worked hard and kept working until they were done. The kept my landscaping around the house neat and didn’t damage any bushes, but they did move some personal items that were close to the home while tearing off the old roof and didn’t put them back after they were done. Overall, we are happy with the work and the roof looks beautiful.

They went the extra mile for me. They put forth the effort to find someone that would finance me when others wouldn’t. They made my vision possible. I had the ugliest house on the block, and while the project took longer to start than the guy who came out to give me the quote stated, they made it clear as to why it took longer. Once they did start the projects it was bam bam bam and knocked out. There were little kinks in the road, but that doesn’t really matter to me as I know when you are doing a construction project shit happens. They did a beautiful job. They made suggestions for the design, but truly listened to me to make it mine. I got exactly what I wanted and throughly enjoy my front porch entertaining area.

They did a great job! Did it exactly the way I would have done my roof if I still did. I was willing to pay more to have it done quickly and done right. Randy and I had a great conversation when he came out to give my wife and I the estimate. We liked him a lot. He didn’t give us the round around or treat us like idiots. I knew I choose the right company by how the crew set up and staged my home for tear off. They got a good slope with their plywood and tarps to keep all the crap away from my home and landscaping. Juan who ran the crew was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He knew how to operate his team for efficiency. I did find one nail when it was all said and done, but that is one nail out of thousands which is extremely impressive. Great job guys.

I was looking for someone that could build a deck with a ramp on my condo. Avalon was the first company that was very inviting. Other companies where elusive about giving information on how they would exactly go about making the design stretch happen. I really like that they stand behind their products. They didn’t charge me until the job was done and they knew I liked it. They really listened to me and worked with me, not just for me. Thank you Avalon!!!

David was polite and courteous to work with. He built a friendship with us as he provided us the estimate and Avalon completed our roof. The roof was put on super fast. Very happy with them and look forward to having our gutters done by them.

They went above and beyond to make everything right. Our original windows had cracks in them and were noisy. We had multiple companies come out to give us an estimate, and while they were not the cheapest they presented a triple pane window at a decent price. Jesus explained more details about the windows over the other companies, and how Avalon would install everything. Whole process took two days for installation. The two guys who did all the work were neat and orderly. While the drywall made a mess, they covered all the furniture to try and keep the dust down. Very respectful. The new windows are much quieter, but are harder to clean the tracks than our previous windows.

These guys are exceptional. They didn’t waste anytime. Very professional. I’ve had a lot of compliments already on the way it looks.

I have not seen people work that hard that often. With having a dome home I knew I had to do my due diligence on finding a skilled contractor. I contacted nine companies for a quote before selecting Avalon. A majority of them never called me back once they found out it was a dome roof. Two other companies gave me a quote for my roof, but I really didn’t know what was a fair price. I reached out to other dome owners to compare prices they have received. Avalon’s price was fairly priced and during the inspection I learned they had previous experience with dome roofs. It took a couple of days from signing a contract with them to get the crew out. The first day the crew arrived at dusk and were up and down that ladder for 12 plus hours. The entire roof took about seven days total so I got to know some of the guys. They were very nice. The crew leader was very attentive. Everytime I came outside to check on their progress he would have an update for me and answered any questions I had. They did an excellent job. Very professional.

Really happy with the price and workmanship on all of my home's new windows and sliding door. I got a lot of perks from them for the price. They offered me double panes on my windows at their single pane price point. I ended up requesting to wait to have everything installed until after all the snow. I was at work when they installed, but everything was unbelievable when I got home. I didn't really have to do any clean up inside as they were neat with the installation. They were worth the wait.

I had some shingles that come off my roof over the course of two years. Avalon was one of the few companies I called to give me an estimate. They were middle of the line. I would recommend them, but tell people to do their homework. Check from a price standpoint as well as a skill standpoint. The guy they sent out to give me the estimate did a good job at explaining what everything was, my shingle choices, and extended warranties his company offered. However, we did have a rough start after signing the contract as he informed me my roof would be completed the following week. When I called Avalon a week later they were still getting my financing approved. That surprised me, but once they started they did a great job. The guys who installed my roof were at my home for about two days. They were excellent. I wish they would have told me to covered my insulation in my attic with a tarp as when they replaced OSB on my roof debris fall through and it made a mess. I have found a few nails after some strong rains, but overall people who know more about roofs than I do tell me it looks good.

Someone came knocking on my door from the company as they saw I had some broken shingles. I figured I would get a price, and see if it was worth having them do it over me. I got a good vibe from the guy they sent out to inspect my roof. He didn’t feed me crap I didn’t want so I agreed. The crew got here early before I went to work. They were friendly enough even though they were busy setting up. I came home to a new roof. Dumpster was picked up next day. Very happy with that the process was headache free.

I was in desperate need of a new roof on my old farmhouse. I had my insurance company sniffing around my home talking about cancelling my insurance policy if I didn't take care of the roof and the paint on my home. I called Avalon due to their name being first in the phone book. Jesus was sent out and walked around the home with me. He told me Avalon could take care of everything and provided me a decent price. He put a priority on my roof to be completed with his team, as he believed it was an emergency situation and further damage might be dangerous. My roof was put on within days of signing. The crew arrived early, stayed late, and finished it up in one day. They were fast yet still took the time to talk to me about what they were doing. Kevin and Shawn who arrived later to complete the siding and windows were very particular about what they did to my home. Before they started, they introduced themselves and informed me and my wife that they were not going to anything to our home they wouldn't do to their own. Those two were professional and spent quite a bit of time out at our home. They really went above and beyond even what Jesus told us. True craftsman that did a beautiful job on our home.

What I appreciated most about them is they were straightforward. They gave me one price and that was it. Everyone was pleasant to deal with. My roof went on real quick. The guys worked hard and took the extra time to blow off my deck, patio, and sidewalks.

They stood out from other companies. Randy already had the measurements of our home when he knocked on the front door. He was very straightforward and didn’t give us a ton of information we didn’t need. The guys did excellent work on the roof and gutters. Very happy with their financing and warranty options as well. I have time to pay off the roof at my pace and know it’s basically taken care of for the rest of my life.

They have a good name and lived up to what they promised. Jonathon presented himself and the company well. He was very honest with us. He genuinely seemed concern about our home and health due to the mold growing on the exterior and interior of our home. We agreed our roof needed to get replaced and gutters could be added to move the water away from certain areas. It was nice they only required a small deposit and not half of the entire amount as we didn’t just have money laying around. It took a few days for the team to arrive but once they did they were constantly working. I peeked my head out a few times to watch and they would wave. I was shocked they would work in such cold weather and snow. We are happy with how our roof and gutters look.

They do a great job! Lots of our neighbors were getting roofs done in our area so we had multiple quotes from different contractors. Avalon was not the cheapest of the price quotes, but they were fair. Randy was friendly and was sure that our roof would be started the coming week. He even went as far as climbing back on our roof after taking his measures and holding his shingle samples up against the edge of our roof so we could select the color. Our roof ended up taking a few days to finish due to rain, but the crew leader kept us informed of what was going on. They finished months ago and I just called them to see if they have any extra shingles that match our home laying around that I may have to finish an outdoor Rabbit hutch I am working on. Not only did they provide matching shingles and the under layment they use as well for free, but they delivered it to my doorstep. Very pleased with that service.

Super happy with them. They were one of the only contractors that guaranteed our work would be gotten to in a reasonable time. The guy who came out to draw up our quote was really nice. He sat with us for awhile and worked out a payment plan with us to get most of the work done now rather than in tons of small chunks. The guys who actually did the work were different than we expected. They were courteous, on time, and it was always darn rather than damn while they were working. I really enjoy the color of our siding. I know when we get around to finishing the rest of our siding we will be calling Avalon and requesting the same crew.

They made our roofing project convenient and easy. The way everyone presented themselves was pretty cool. The guy who came out to inspect our home was great. He was very patient with us as we selected what we wanted for our roof. He gave us his opinion, based on our brick color and what was popular, without being pushy. The fact that we could finance our roof was a bonus. The crew who came out to complete our roof were organized. They moved all our furniture on our pool deck, throw planking over our doors and windows, and laid tarps out in front to protect my landscaping around the house. Avalon handled their business. Definitely impressed!

I had Avalon back to do my tile work in the bathroom because they did a good job on my roof and gutters.

My garage roof looked like shit. It was curling and missing shingles, but wasn’t leaking so I didn’t think anything of it. Until my insurance company notified me they were coming to cancel my insurance if I didn’t take care of it. I have a vintage vehicle stored in the garage so I was not about to let that happen. They sent out Randy to inspect who was great. The entire process was smoother than a baby’s bottom. The crew was professional, hard working, and cleaned up quickly. My roof sure doesn’t look like shit no more.

I have previously dealt with smaller home improvement companies in the past for repairs. I fully planned on using them again, but due to never receiving a quote multiple times after having them out to my house I said enough is enough and asked a few friends who to use. Jeremy who came to my home to inspection my leaking roof was very honest with his findings and opinion on how to stop the leak. He gave me an estimate the same day, drew up a detailed contract on what would be done to my home, and explained Avalon’s entire process on how and when my new roof would be completed. I got my loan approval call from them days later, and the next day a call to schedule the installation. Avalon was quick and responsive to get it done. I am happy with their professional service and what I got.

From day one Billy was very cool about things and on the ball. Avalon has been very proficient throughout. Everyone that stops over compliments the siding and windows. I would rate them a 9/10 as no one is perfect. I am very satisfied with Avalon. They were very helpful answering all my questions. The crew was polite and cleaned up after themselves. There were no problems whatsoever.

They did a remarkable job. I really liked the representative that was sent to my home. Jason was polite, friendly, listened, and unlike most people in the construction trades I have spoken with in the past. He he did not speak too technical, yet shared his expertise about my roof from his own experiences. No one cares how much you know until they know you care, and I knew Jason cared about my project. I was extremely impressed with the crew leader and his team. They arrived early to my home and didn’t stop working until lunch. Anytime I poked my nose outside Juan was there asking if he could answer anything. They were diligent on getting things picked up throughout the project. They were quiet and discreet with their music and had a great work ethic. As it was going to rain the next day Juan kept his crew there until it was completed. Avalon did everything I expected them to do. They truly underpromised and over delivered.

It was above and beyond what I was expecting. Clint was very relaxed and down to earth, yet straight forward about Avalon’s roofing process. He told me his crews could complete the roof tear off, installation, clean up, and haul away of debris in one day and delivered. I signed the contract and within 6 days had Avalon calling me to set up installation. The day of installation I came home from work to a finished roof and the crew hauling away waste and running magnets through my yard. I am very impressed with Avalon and my new roof. They did a great job.

I live in a historic area and finding a contractor that could handle the unique character and design of my home was challenging. Avalon’s people are smart and clearly communicate with you, which is extremely important. The communication took place from the first person who came to my home for the inspection, to the person calling me with updates about deliveries and installation, to the last person who followed up with me after the project was complete. The inspector informed me my roof was possible to get done in one day during my signing, but due to terrible weather that interfered, it took five days to complete fully. However, it was done in a very neat manner, and the lines the crew used with the shingles captured the character of my historic home beautifully. I am very pleased with Avalon’s professional staff, and knowing my new roof is the last one I will have to buy in my lifetime.

Every single person I dealt with from Avalon has done an excellent job. I have gone back to them now for three different projects because I feel they think of the person and their home first, not just the money. That is hard to find in a home improvement company. They are knowledgeable in what they sell and have follow through in what they say they will do. Avalon is the company to call when you are making any changes to your home.

We choose Avalon because they were the only company that would complete everything that was damaged due to a leak in our skylight. They we able to get us financed and offered us the best price. Communication was lacking as to when we were going to be scheduled and our interior would be completed. It started slow but got better. They did end up doing everything they promised It just took some time. The guys did a great job on the interior with the drywall. You can’t even tell we had damage.

I have been highly impressed with both of my roof and bathroom remodel. Avalon was the only company I received quotes from who provided financing options and didn’t require me to put half of the money down upfront. When I called them for a roofing estimate I was leery because it was the first time doing anything major to my home. His crew worked around my last minute requests and made a custom double vanity counter top for me to keep my clothes shot hidden. They were extremely neat with the details. Avalon literally delivered everything I wanted. I could not be happier or ask for more from a company.
