Alberto Plumbing has ended what I would consider almost 2 years of stress and mental anguish over my previous water heater that I spent almost $1000 on for repairs, even with having a home warranty company. After a thorough search for a master plumber, I found Alberto Plumbing, LLC. When Alberto inspected my previous water heater, he was the only plumber out of so many who was able to identify the same issue the manufacturer identified and other plumbers refuted. He also found another more important issue: the water heater was too big for my attic and specific parts were not replaced during the install! He installed a brand new water heater with efficiency, care, and expertise. He also ordered a city inspection of his installation which was included in the price. The previous installer did not make this offer (go figure). The price was very reasonable compared to other estimates I received, which were ridiculous. Alberto’s knowledge was like a breath of fresh air. Other plumbers had to call for help or guidance without the problem being fixed. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work performed by Alberto Plumbing. If you are tired of the lazy, smelly, out of shape plumbers that take your money and don’t fix your plumbing issues, then Alberto is your guy. I was not paid for this review. I am simply a customer that was at her wits end when God sent him to me. I highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs!
Some companies may require a 10% deposit, some may not require any. For larger projects, you'll almost always need to give a deposit, and it's good to ask how much the deposit will be before going forward with a project. The Pflugerville contractor will know how much they need for a deposit when they've given you the estimate, so ask early.
This is important mostly for larger jobs. Clearly a two man operation is going to build a home much slower than a 15 man crew. This is also a good indication of the overall size of the Plumbing company, if that's an area of concern for you. The reason you may want to ask about the fleet is that fleet size is a good indicator of the mobility of the company. Mobility may not sound important, but it's hard for the Pflugerville contractors to get to job sites if they lack appropriate vehicles.
You'll certainly want to ask them this. Steer clear of any company that is not insured in Texas, because that means that any incidental damage they may do on your property will be a real hassle to recover compensation for. It is never wise to work with uninsured tradesmen of any kind. Most states also require that someone have insurance in order to be issued a trade license. If they say they're licensed but not insured, they're being less than truthful.
Many jobs in Texas will require municipal permits in order to be approved by the town's inspector. It's always good to ask who will be responsible for pulling those permits, and if you'll be expected to do it. You'll almost never be told to pull your own, but knowing that Pflugerville Plumbing permits are required makes you appear to be a well informed customer.
