Wireless doorbell runs down batteries because of metal front door. We have musical chimes but doorbell button broke and regular button only works partially and sometimes not all the time. We need a button that wil.work the chimes or else a whole new unit.

Looking to run Ethernet cabling from cable modem/apple wifi in one part of the house to a central location where I have an Apple TV and Slingbox so I do not have to have them running on the wifi. Should be a straight forward job, house has crawlspace and a Cat 5 cable has already been run between locations. Real challenge is that Im usually only available on Friday Sat and Sunday in the home.
