I'm considering making an offer on a home. Unfortuntately, there are major problems in the basement. There are huge, apparently active cracks in a large portion of the floor with moisture involved. There is also water along the base of a wall. There is obviously a serious drainage problem, and possibly footing issues by now. Wondering what it would cost to get the problem diagnosed and to get an estimate on repairs costs/time. Home is vacant. Real estate agent and I will have auth to get someone in there.
