We have a roof leak. We found it March 5, and the contractor keeps coming back and trying to fix it, but it still leaks! I'm six months pregnant, and I've been having asthma attacks and now a rash. The leak is in a room that is maybe 12' X 15'. It did damage the carpet in a few small areas, and it did run down the outside wall. Half the ceiling has been wet. The contractor has said he doesn't want to touch the interior until the leak is fixed, but every attempt to fix the roof takes him a week. Now that I'm asking about removing the damaged materials, he won't even respond. I'm not suggesting that we replace anything yet, just take out / clean up the moldy parts if that's possible. Thanks.
