June 2016 Integrity Air installed a new air conditioning system for us. The price of the unit and labor was very reasonable. We were in the middle of a heat wave so they moved quickly and we were up and going in no time. I found them to live up to their name "Integrity" Air. There were no hidden costs. We paid exactly what they quoted us. Fast forward to April 2017. Our AC was not working properly. I contacted Branden and he was here the next day. Found out that there was a crack in a pipe which was a manufacturer problem and all of our Freon had leaked out. Branden ordered the part that day, which was this past Friday and he and his team were back on Monday morning and our air conditioning was working again! NO COST TO US! I would highly recommend Integrity Air for any of your HVAC needs!! R Bailey
Some companies may require a 10% deposit, some may not require any. For larger projects, you'll almost always need to give a deposit, and it's good to ask how much the deposit will be before going forward with a project. The Jasper contractor will know how much they need for a deposit when they've given you the estimate, so ask early.
This is important mostly for larger jobs. Clearly a two man operation is going to build a home much slower than a 15 man crew. This is also a good indication of the overall size of the HVAC company, if that's an area of concern for you. The reason you may want to ask about the fleet is that fleet size is a good indicator of the mobility of the company. Mobility may not sound important, but it's hard for the Jasper contractors to get to job sites if they lack appropriate vehicles.
This will be answered when you ask if all employees are licensed. The only way to obtain a legitimate tradesman's license is to be a legal or naturalized citizen of the US. The company may employ people in positions that don't require a license, however, so it's wise to inquire.
Though a standard question, it's important to ask. Most contractors will tell you how long they expect the job to take without you asking. If they don't volunteer that information, be sure to ask. It's also helpful to ask if that's a hard finish date, meaning that it's the definite finish date. If it's a soft finish date, it may be extended for any number of reasons.
