June 2016 Integrity Air installed a new air conditioning system for us. The price of the unit and labor was very reasonable. We were in the middle of a heat wave so they moved quickly and we were up and going in no time. I found them to live up to their name "Integrity" Air. There were no hidden costs. We paid exactly what they quoted us. Fast forward to April 2017. Our AC was not working properly. I contacted Branden and he was here the next day. Found out that there was a crack in a pipe which was a manufacturer problem and all of our Freon had leaked out. Branden ordered the part that day, which was this past Friday and he and his team were back on Monday morning and our air conditioning was working again! NO COST TO US! I would highly recommend Integrity Air for any of your HVAC needs!! R Bailey
This is important mostly for larger jobs. Clearly a two man operation is going to build a home much slower than a 15 man crew. This is also a good indication of the overall size of the HVAC company, if that's an area of concern for you. The reason you may want to ask about the fleet is that fleet size is a good indicator of the mobility of the company. Mobility may not sound important, but it's hard for the Ball Ground contractors to get to job sites if they lack appropriate vehicles.
Many jobs in Georgia will require municipal permits in order to be approved by the town's inspector. It's always good to ask who will be responsible for pulling those permits, and if you'll be expected to do it. You'll almost never be told to pull your own, but knowing that Ball Ground HVAC permits are required makes you appear to be a well informed customer.
Some companies may require a 10% deposit, some may not require any. For larger projects, you'll almost always need to give a deposit, and it's good to ask how much the deposit will be before going forward with a project. The Ball Ground contractor will know how much they need for a deposit when they've given you the estimate, so ask early.
Though a standard question, it's important to ask. Most contractors will tell you how long they expect the job to take without you asking. If they don't volunteer that information, be sure to ask. It's also helpful to ask if that's a hard finish date, meaning that it's the definite finish date. If it's a soft finish date, it may be extended for any number of reasons.
This is very important, since an estimate is just that. Many contractors will submit a "paper estimate", meaning they've written the estimate down on paper. The bill is the true amount owed and will almost always say "Invoice" or "Bill" at the top of the page. The bill should also list the date it was issued, the due date of payment, and a list of services rendered.
