Horrible experience. IMO GC is unorganized and incompetent. Tried to hide a window install that was clearly incorrect. He has no idea the status of permits. After I settled with GC, I discovered a permit was still open had to close it myself. My experience was the GC was dishonest on several occassions, Also be aware of contract language, he has in the fine print owner can only retain 10% of final draw for punch list. He will not finish scope of work and claim it is punch list and demand 90% of final payment before completion this is onerous to homeowner. I have had other contractors tell me they do not and would not have that in their contract . Lastly he took my left over material from my job site without authorization.
