I have travertine tile in kitchen and bathrooms that needs major help. The grout needs major cleaning plus lots of cracks, chips and tiny holes made by items dropped. Installed by a person 7-8 years ago by a homeowner who thought he knew what he was doing. Doesnt look like the floor was taken care of. Ive tried everything to get the grout cleaned, but unsuccessful. Didnt know if it was cheaper to hire a professional to bring the life back into the floor or if I should replace it. Have stack of extra travertine tile that could be used for replacement pieces, but dont know how expensive that might be. Would like cost estimate for restoring the tile.
