Review Your Contractor: Premier Pool Renovations

The pool had been looking like it was in need of a major overhaul for some time. The small tile repairs became larger tile repairs and the pitting in the plaster turned into big gray streaks. It was time for a remodel. We contacted the company who built our pool as well as several other companies.. All had very good proposals and thoughts but in the end we went with who we thought offered the best overall package. Premier did a fantastic job on our pool. They helped us re-imagine the pool and we did a true makeover. We added a sun ledge which has become the most used area in the pool. We can fit 4 lounge chairs and the umbrella stand integrated in the middle is fantastic. We raised our spa 18" which now has a spillway that cascades water down into the pool and we have that water sound. That seemed initially like a simple undertaking by two other companies but Dan and Keith at Premier explained how involved it was. The bench the jets the skimmer the step the light all were effected. That explanation and reasoning for the associated costs was the reason we went with premier. They had done it several times and showed us the pictures. The who project was great and we are very pleased. If I had to be critical and say what was a downside was the permitting process. This was not a reflection of Premier necessarily but the drawings and surveys we needed to get was a process and if we could do it over we would have started on that 3-4 weeks earlier. It all worked out but our township is a real stickler. Our pool work done by Premier and the landscaping done by Horizon all made or backyard very special. We used our pool the entire moth of August and most of September.
