About this pro

Sell My House Dallas is a property investment company for Dallas Real Estate Investors. At GA Investments, we want to help as many local Dallas, Texas residents get out of their home that they can no longer afford. Whatever the reasons why you are motivated to sell today, we make it simple to escape upside down and late payments due to divorce, loss of income, injuries and medical concerns and other common issues.

Whatever has caused you to no longer remain in your house, we know how difficult it gets to sell with traditional methods. Listing your property with a local real estate brokerage is practical if you have the time and resources to remain patient.
However, when you have creditors calling you daily and no way to keep up with taxes and payments, you cant wait around for the market to reward you with a qualified buyer. Instead, we remain the skilled choice in local real estate investors who buy and sell Dallas properties daily.

Best Questions to Ask a Home Inspector Contractor

How much do I have to give as a deposit?

Some companies may require a 10% deposit, some may not require any. For larger projects, you'll almost always need to give a deposit, and it's good to ask how much the deposit will be before going forward with a project. The Dallas contractor will know how much they need for a deposit when they've given you the estimate, so ask early.

Are you union or non-union?

This really only matters if you have a preference, but it is good to ask. If you have a strong ideological belief about unions or nonunions, it's perfectly acceptable to make a decision based on the preference.

Is your bill for Home Inspections in Dallas an estimate or a final price?

This is very important, since an estimate is just that. Many contractors will submit a "paper estimate", meaning they've written the estimate down on paper. The bill is the true amount owed and will almost always say "Invoice" or "Bill" at the top of the page. The bill should also list the date it was issued, the due date of payment, and a list of services rendered.

Are you insured and/or bonded for Home Inspections?

You'll certainly want to ask them this. Steer clear of any company that is not insured in Texas, because that means that any incidental damage they may do on your property will be a real hassle to recover compensation for. It is never wise to work with uninsured tradesmen of any kind. Most states also require that someone have insurance in order to be issued a trade license. If they say they're licensed but not insured, they're being less than truthful.

What guarantees and/or warranties can you give me? Are you a warranty agent for any brands?

These first two questions should only relate to services or good purchased directly from the service provider. Many products carry their own warranties, like roofing shingles or siding. It's useful to know what these warranties cover as well as how long they last. The "warranty agent" question is important, because often warranty agents work with the manufacturer to get you repairs under warranty at a much lower price.
