Seams on vaulted ceiling and seams on walls. Probably need to look this over. I have tried to fix this problem myself, but did not do a very good job.

We recently discovered water damage in a closet on our main floor caused by a leaky toilet in the upstairs. The water reached the carpet before we notice it unfortunately, and there is mold on that corner of carpet. I'm now paranoid that there is mold growing behind the wall of that closet. Our affected area is approx two feet wide starting at the top of the closet and narrows until it reaches the floor. The paint is wrinkled and a discolored grey/pink color.
So my first question to you is-- what is your recommendation on a drywall that's had a leak behind it? Do we need to remove/replace it to eradicate the mold?
If the answer is yes, how much would this cost to cut out and replace?
Thank you.
