I have a Onan 5KW generator in my RV. I bought it from someone who let it sit up for many years. To test it, they just had a fuel line running into a gas can and it cranked fine. I then put a fuel line that runs into the gas tank. I have started it several times. I then cranked it and let it run for about 30 mins. Now, when I try to crank it, I only get a clicking sound. So dont know whether it is the starter or the generator is locked up. I will be removing it sometime this week from the RV to take it somewhere. If it is locked up, do you guys rebuild them?
