11 year old ceiling fan has stopped working. While fan was running it suddenly slowed down. Wouldn't work at all on fastest setting, only on the slow setting and perhaps on the middle setting. Then it stopped working all-together. Fan is 11 years old. Uses a Lutron wall switch with three fan speeds and a light switch. The light control still works. Tried all combinations of wall switch setting and pull chain settings on the motor and nothing worked. Fan mounted on a moderately high cathedral ceiling. Make - Hampton Bay

Are you working today or tomorrow? I had a water heated installed yesterday and the plumber says the water short circuited the electric going to the panel. Also, he said it needs a ground. Can you get to it?
