We have a gas fireplace. About a year ago there was a bird and a nest in the fireplace. My husband took everything apart and took the nest out but now the fireplace will turn on by switch, however, it just shuts off randomly. Wondering if you can deal with this or do we call gas company? Also we are not able to get our fireplace on during an outage and are looking to make it so that if we have an outage we can use the gas fireplace.
