My husband and I are currently in the process of buying a home and during the inspection there was an item that came up with the fireplace. The chimney did not have a flue hat and water was able to get in causing loose/missing grout on the back wall of the fireplace. It also appears to be bowing inward. We would like someone to come out to the property to provide a quote for repairs needed so we may submit it to the owners for repair. The sooner the better as we do not want to hold up closing for either of us. Thank you!
