With Easter being right around the corner, preparations should already be started. But, if you’re a busy person, it’s likely that you still have no idea what you’re doing to make your house beautiful for the holiday. Thinking about that (because you know, busy folks need to stick up for each other), these eight ideas are simple to make and will be gorgeous additions for your Easter gathering!

“Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life.” - Janine di Giovanni

Centerpiece

This centerpiece is really simple to put together. The only part that might be a little time-consuming is preparing the eggs (but that’s also the fun part!). You can even find some different ways to decorate eggs, instead of the simple dyed, such as:

  • Watercolor
  • Paint splattered
  • Marbled

Bunny Garland

This is one of my favorite crafts ever! Though it doesn’t really work for any time other than Easter, it’s so cute and cheerful I’d consider getting a bunny and using this to decorate its little house.

But back on the craft itself:

It’s really easy to put together and will surely get everyone’s attention! Here’s what you’ll need: scrapbook paper, bunny template, yarn, craft glue, and a fork (yes, a fork, you’ll understand it when you check the instructions).

Treats Jar

This option is a great way to make both a cute decor addition and a fun place to store treats (for after Easter brunch maybe? I love that idea!). It’s made with Mason jars and you can personalize it with your own colors and bunny shapes.

Brunch Setting

Does your family follow an Easter brunch tradition? I find it such a lovely gathering! Plus, it makes for a great opportunity of getting creative and creating a beautiful table setting such as the one above! It’s so colorful and spring-like, it even feels like garden gnomes came to life and put it together by magic.

And talking about magic, kids also love a bit of magic, so here’s an option just for them…

Kids’ Table

  • Coco Plant Liners
  • Styrofoam wreaths
  • Ribbon
  • Hot glue
  • Spring steams
  • Scissors
  • Straight pins
  • Toothpicks
  • Yarn
  • Pom pom maker

Bunny Napkins

Transform your boring linen napkins into these adorable bunny linens! You’ll need needle and thread, plus a pom pom and fabric. All you have to do then is take a bunny image (any image at all that you think is pretty), cut the fabric to that shape, and then sew it onto the napkin! Don’t forget to add the pom pom for the tail!

Bunny Pillow

Now, this is a pillow you can make for Easter celebration and keep around afterwards if you’d wish. At least for the spring season! It’s surprisingly easy to make these and it’s also a really fun craft to make at home.
