With Thanksgiving just a couple of weeks away, you’re probably already thinking about what you’re going to do. Either inviting your friends and family to come over for dinner or going to a friend’s dinner, you’ll need to cook at least one dish!

Having that in mind,

It’s always good to remember those vegan, celiac, or lactose intolerant friends that also need to eat - along with people who just want to be healthy! So let’s give them a treat (or seven!) with these delicious Thanksgiving side dishes!

“If you are really thankful, what do you do? You share.” - W. Clement Stone

Tabbouleh is a delicious type of food, though it’s not an incredibly popular dish in the U.S. (yet). This recipe isn’t gluten-free or lactose-free at first, but you’ll see two notes at the end on how to make the substitutions so it’s both gluten-free and lactose-free!

The best part about it:

It takes only 20 minutes to prepare! A combo of easy to make and carb-free? Yes, please!

This is probably the easiest recipe here today, you’ll simply:

  • Mix all the salad ingredients
  • Then mix all the dressing ingredients
  • Lastly, put salad and dressing together

So simple! And it’s really yummy as well, you simply need this on your table this year!

When we talk about healthy recipes, cauliflower always finds a way to be the center of attention! Even though I did have to control myself to include just this one recipe with the delicious veggie, it just had to be here!

And I’m telling you:

It’s worth it! The flavors are such a wonderful combo of sweet and salty, perfect to accompany a roasted chicken!

Another salad option to try making! It’s a great option if you’re going with a last minute dinner since it takes about 40 minutes to be ready. In addition, it’s a different and delicious side dish (one of the best!).
