Easy Spring Sachet

Spring cleaning is in full force this time of year, but the fresh, clean scent of citrus doesn’t last long enough. A good way to keep your home smelling like spring is by using homemade sachets. You can put them in your drawers, in your pillowcase, or even in a dish in your bathroom (especially if you just got a new bathroom addition put on).

To make your own sachet, you’ll need:

  • Pieces of fabric
  • A stamp and ink (or paint)
  • Needle and thread
  • Dried lavender (or any other great-smelling herb)

First, cut the fabric into two equal pieces. Use the stamp and ink (or paint) to create fun patterns. Then stitch around the edges, leaving a tiny opening big enough to put the dried herb in. Stuff the sachet with the herb and then finish sewing it shut. You can tie a pretty bow with the extra thread to make it look extra pretty. Your home will smell wonderful!
