9 Ways to Take Your TV Watching to the Next Level

When the fall comes and the warm weather is starting to leave us, TV binging and movie binging becomes more regular as my avoidance of cold weather and snow grows. I’d much rather enjoy a day binge watching Stranger Things, than venturing out into the cold, soon-to-be holiday shopping haze. As what I would consider a “professional binger,” I think it’s time to share my expertise with those planning their date with Netflix and Hulu.

For the Laptop Bingers:

When you are using your laptop for hours (and hours) it’s bound to get hot. While that might be a welcome heat when it’s cold outside, it’s not good for the laptop. Getting a lap desk will help keep the laptop ventilated and keep you binging for days.

Don’t forget to bling out your laptop with a saying or picture that speaks to your heart. You can get a Netflix themed laptop skin or almost anything else!

For the TV Bingers:

If you are currently using your laptop to stream, think about upgrading to make use of your TV. With cable going out of style faster than jelly shoes and slap bracelets in the 90’s, streaming devices and smart TV’s are becoming more popular. If you aren’t ready to shell out the funds for a smart TV, consider one of the many streaming devices on the market to turn your TV into a one stop shop for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and HBO Now (as well as many other streaming services available on these devices)!

One of the downsides of streaming devices and TV’s these days is that remotes are getting smaller and smaller. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost my Apple TV remote in my comforter. Set the Mood:

Set the mood when you are getting ready to settle down for your Netflix date with one of these TV and movie themed candles.
