So, the holiday season is here once again and it’s time to remember how to throw a successful dinner party! Each year is one that we want to improve, either personally, professionally, or just, you know, hostess-like. With that in mind, we’ve found some items you simply need to have if you’re playing hostess at some point!

The casserole is a dish that’s (almost) always on the dinner menu, so it’s good to have at least one spare casserole dish at home. This one you very likely already have at home, but maybe consider a new set to use during the holidays! You can go for bright colors and patterns, or find something a bit more simple and neutral.

If you decide to go neutral on the dinner set, a nice way to take the decor style to the next level is by finding some cool napkins such as these! They’re fancy and useful, we could say it’s the perfect combo!

One thing we can say for sure is that there’s no such thing as too many trays! They’re so useful and if you’re looking for something a bit fancier for your dinner parties, this is surely the option to go with!

We couldn’t leave out flatware on this essentials list, but of course you already knew about these being essentials! This is more so you have an option to find a matching set in case you’re missing any pieces in yours!

And for after dinner, making sure that dessert is accompanied by a nice cup of hot coffee is also essential! Maybe a cup of hot tea would be nice as well, that part is up to you.
