We have to get those Thanksgiving decorations ready and fast because the big night is almost here! And while it might seem like the close deadline is enough reason to panic, the reality is infinitely more reassuring:

There are super easy and fast ways to decorate for Thanksgiving.

And we’re looking into some of those ideas right now!

It shouldn’t be hard to find pinecones during this season, you may even have a bunch lying around your backyard. If not, check the neighbors – you won’t have to go far!

The craft itself is super simple: for starters, brush off the pinecones with an old toothbrush to lightly sand and clean them. Then paint the tips as seen on the image with acrylic paint using a paint brush – the author went as far as to use three different shades of the same color to create a beautiful gradient, but you can skip that part and stick to one color for the sake of time and resources.

2. Fresh Fall harvest

Don’t be afraid to use fresh Fall fruits as decoration! They look great when used on centerpieces and around the dinner table. And basically any fruit will work, so don’t be afraid to try it out – if you have any at home, it’s free decoration!

3. Mason jar candles

There’s a whole lot you can do with mason jars, but this simple DIY is in the spotlight today. All you need are the jars themselves, strings, votive candles, and tags that you can make any way you want.

On the tags you can write things to be thankful for, or even guest names to lay them across the dinner table! The candle is also up to you, but votive candles are good because of the small and well-behaved flame that won’t risk burning anything.

4. Wall art

Whether you’re creating something for yourself or getting a printable, the options are endless! In most cases you don’t even have to purchase frames, you can use the ones you have and simply find prints that fit perfectly onto them. Lay them out for Thanksgiving night and after that, you can have them back just fine.

Also, did you notice the mason jars with votive candles? Nice and easy touch, isn’t it? Be sure to consider those too!

Candles are, in general, really cool decoration ideas for your dinner table. Easy to come by, easy to set up, they look great – there are basically no downsides.

But if you want to give your candles an extra flair, consider fitting them inside real apples! The fruits themselves will not go to waste, and they look fantastic as decoration on your dinner table.
